Workplace Giving Gifts

Did you know you can designate a gift to AGE through your workplace? Many business throughout Central Texas and the nation allow their employees to donate to their favorite charity through workplace giving, or they match gifts or volunteer time. Check with your company HR department to see if you can designate a portion of your paycheck. If you company needs a speaker we are available throughout the year. Please use our official name, Austin Groups for the Elderly, during your workplace giving drive. AGE also participates in the City of Austin campaign.

AGE Sponsorship Opportunities

AGE is a nonprofit organization with a 501 c 3 status. It is because of generous donations and sponsorships that we are able to deliver our services to over 3,000 people in Central Texas each year. If your business would like to be recognized as an AGE of Central Texas sponsor, we welcome the opportunity for you to join us at various benefit levels.

Striking A Balance:

For 10 years, AGE has partnered with the Area Agency on Aging to host a free conference designed especially for family caregivers. Last year alone, over 175 family caregivers attend to learn about resources, hear experts in the field. This conference always has excellent rating from the attendees. During a recent year, 90% of respondents rated the Conference Overall as Excellent with multiple comments such as:

This year’s conference is November 3, 2012. Sponsorship opportunities are limited and always sell out. They will be available beginning Monday August 20, 2012. Check here for more information or contact Emily Mares at emares@ageofcentraltx.org to make sure you are on the email distribution list.
Sponsor recognition is from October 2012- June 2013.

AGE Annual Awards Dinner:

Approximately 200 people attend this event each year. Benefits of sponsorship can include tickets to the event, recognition at the event and pre-event publications, and recognition to the active e-news subscribers and donors of AGE.

Your sponsor support to the Annual AGE Awards Diner will allow AGE to honor the outstanding community advocates who selflessly give of themselves on behalf of the elderly.

The event is Thursday April 25, 2013.

Thanksgiving Lunch at AGE’s Adult Day Centers:

Adult Day Center Thanksgiving Luncheons are beloved annual traditions for our families and staff at both the Austin and Round Rock sites. Thank you to a 2012 sponsor, Bill Miller BBQ, for providing two Tom Turkeys, complete with gravy and dressing, for AGE’s adult day center in Round Rock!

Whenever this custom floral design is purchased during the entire month of August, King Florist will donate 20% of the profit back to this great organization.
